About the Project

The City of Onkaparinga developed an Open Space Strategic Management Plan (OSSMP) that provides direction to ensure a diversity of connected open spaces are provided equitably across the city to meet current and future community needs. Coming to the end of its lifecycle, Council wanted to undertake statistically valid research in relation to the communities perceptions regarding the subject matter.

One Eighty SLS partnered with McGregor Tan Market Research and Tonkin Engineering to develop the survey and mapping and undertake up to date industry research, relating to open space and playspace provision, trends, and standards.

One Eighty also provided professional advice to McGregor Tan in relation to survey development, and will assist in interpreting findings to guide Councils response in reshaping a new direction for open space and playspaces in the coming years.
