About the Project

Council has developed or drafted plans and strategies regarding sport and recreation in recent years, many of which have been undertaken in isolation or not yet actioned. as such, One Eighty SLS was contracted to bring many of these strategies together under a blueprint for open space and in particular the many sporting facilities and precincts across the Council boundary.

The project includes an assessment of councils open space, and providing a layered response to open space provision, and in particular a carrying capacity assessment of existing grounds with a view of determining the optimal use and layout of sports precincts.
